Tornadoes, Some Strong Possible 4/5/17

Wednesday continues to look like potentially a dangerous day with the potential for tornadoes, some of which could be strong over a fairly large portion of the Midwest and southeast states - in particular in parts of the Florida panhandle, Alabama and Georgia where the best chance for strong tornadoes exists.

Multiple rounds of storms appears likely starting in the morning on Wednesday in parts of far eastern Mississippi into Alabama where all types of severe weather will be possible, including the threat for a few tornadoes. By afternoon, the risk for tornadoes will increase and expand as far north as into parts of Illinois, Indiana, etc with any storms that can remain discrete. The threat for long track, damaging tornadoes will also increase at this time and will likely last into the evening hours. In addition to the threat for tornadoes, large hail and damaging wind will be a threat across the area.

If you live anywhere in or near the outlined area, please keep a close eye on the weather. This is one of those setups that potentially could be life threatening for some and is nothing to take lightly. Please pay close attention to watches and warnings and have a plan in place if a warning is issued for your area.
