After 6 years of shooting this tree at Noosa, Australia trying to capture the milky way, we FINALLY GOT IT!!! Every time we've been up there it rains or cloudy etc, but a few days ago...it all came together for us..

I love the composition of this photo and the story it tells though. The vehicles that don't know a tornado is behind them. The man that's frozen in the middle of the road. Just enough debris coming from the tornado to know something powerful is over the hill. Lancaster, Texas. April 3, 2012.

Near big spring Nebraska. It was tornado warned and me and Randy Dean Hicks and Lisa McGeough witnessed a very brief tornado with it. This is known as an hp supercell. High precipitation. This is still one of my greatest shots I've ever taken.

Some structures on pileus and lenticularis clouds, sometimes even combined, were just amazing on that day.

Supercell near Jacksonville, IL on 3/15/16 against the setting sun. Another supercell is behind the low precipitation one, and that one went on to produce a tornado. Ready for more chasing opportunities later this year.

Under the mothership back in Topeka Kansas May 21st 2011. This rotating wall cloud thankfully didn't produce a tornado at this stage otherwise Topeka was in big big trouble.
