The Rock Church) Church in Cranfills Gap, Texas beneath the Texas night sky. I only had time to shoot about 3 compositions but am so grateful for the opportunity. This property is locked and gated after sunset, so a shot like this has never happened before. The church was constructed back in 1884 on land that was bought for $25. St. Olaf Kirke served a community of Norwegian settlers who farmed on area lands. Limestone was quarried from the surrounding hills to build the church. The church was designated a historical landmark by the Texas Historical Commission in 1974 and was entered into the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The church was visited by King Olav V of Norway on October 10, 1982 (<---cool random fact). Shot on a Nikon D810 with a Nikon 14-24.

Supercell near Chester, NE tonight overtook the plains with amazing structure. Not many people chase in September, but there can be fantastic setups in the early fall.
