This supercell just kept producing. This is probably the most photogenic tornado I have ever witnessed.

Mostly in rivers when the movement of the water freezes very fast. I caught this in a small pond by my house. The temperature was 4 degrees below zero that day. I was blessed to get these pictures.

"Sit back and watch" Finally after many dry months without the lights, lady Aurora has shown herself. It was a brief substorm, and this shot I pulled out from the timelapse I was recording at the moment. Not the greatest show, but certainly better than nothing! Duluth, Minnesota

July 22, 2016 - Shot of the Year:  A supercell, producing nickel size hail in our area releases a rare superbolt of electric charge. I caught it in the photo here, which it is arching down from the barely visible anvil, later looping back up into the anvil, then all the way down to strike the earth with the full fury of nature's electric charge buildup. Location: South-central Saskatchewan

A look back of last year this supercell went right over us and the rotation went right behind our house.
