Thats a good reward i guess

I saw it once with this exceptionally beautiful storm that sparked some CC's every now and then while spinning away from us.

Just a few random bolts were on offer a few months ago to the south of Emerald Queensland Australia. Not the most spectacular of images, however the terrain of this particular spot made for tough going. We did manage to find a clearing in the darkness however, and the dividends paid off.

Coming into the second half of March & my trip out to the States for my annual pilgrimage looms closer with each passing day. Nice to look back through the years via Lightroom at old chase days & one from the very lean year of 2011. This near stationary storm kept us distracted enough to take our eye off the bigger picture happening above us & we nearly got munched by some HUGE hail, it also produced a very brief tornado which if memory serves correct was the only tornado in the Texas handle that year.
