On the first day we drove by this sign and we all laughed how cool it would be to get a storm behind it. Well on the second chase day it happened! Near Joes, Colorado 05/26/17. "Have A Nice Day"

Thanks for your input, everyone. Second tornado for me in my home state this week! #hoosieralley Any thoughts on this, weather experts? Yesterday while chasing storms in northeast IN, I looked up from checking the radar and was quite shocked to see this well-developed funnel passing to my northwest. The storm was never tornado-warned and didn't have any large-scale rotational features, but the funnel appeared to reach below the trees and touch the ground from my perspective. I'm guessing this was a cold-air funnel, embedded in a thunderstorm, that either touched down or reached within 30 feet of the ground. First time I've ever seen a cold-air funnel, and I still think this may count as a weak tornado if it did indeed connect with the ground. Storm chasing is an endless surprise goody bag sometimes!

[UK]. Still the best electrical storms this season have mostly been either down south or way to the west of here. Our time will come though. In the meantime, I gave this nasty looking mutha a wide berth as it rampaged across the Isle of Axholme, Lincolnshire on the 27th of May......
